  • Plus= Meeting new people/ Minus= Sometimes can have MAJOR WRITER BLOCK/ Interesting = Learning new things

Every since 5th grade, Jennifer and I are being obsessed with pugs. Pugs are so adorable😍!!! Today, I’m going to teach you about pigs, I mean pugs.

😍Welcome to Pugs 101 with Sarah. Today, we are learning the basic facts about pugs.😍

  • Long Live The Queen!!! Pugs, back then, were treated like royalty. Sip, sip, coffee or tea, whichever you prefer. 😉
  • Long worded fact: Pugs are brachycephalic, which basically means smushed face.
  • A pug saved Prince William in the 16th century
  • It’s believed that the pug’s wrinkles are the shape of Chinese characters (uhh.. ok) *whisper* If you have a pug, you should probably take a closer look at the wrinkles and see if you see SpongeBob
  • Pugs can get a cold… because of their stubby noses.
  • Pugs are not good swimmers because of the length of the legs
  • Pugs are OLD👴!! They probably come from about 400 B.C. (B.C.=Before Christ)
  • Pugs=Cats, because they sleep 14 hours a day… dude, they need to try coffee
  • They were originally bred to sit on laps of Chinese emperors, talk about special treatment
  • Germans call pugs, mops. Uhh.. you can’t use them to clean up a mess
  • Queen Victoria and Empress Josephine Bonaparte were famous pug owners
  • LALALA, did you know pugs aren’t big barkers, they are more singers. 🎶
  • Purrfect pugs have about 2-4 curls on their tails. They are pigs….🐷

Bai Bai SBC 😭: Part 1| SBC Week 10: Farewell

Hello everyone!

Welcome back to probably my last SBC post. 😢THE FEELS, IT’S REAL. Anyway, I’m going to evaluate myself.

  • I had 23 since March 2017 (counting this post)
  • School Based: 9  Intrest Based: 14 posts
  • I got 9 comments since March 2017. I’m not really sure why it happened, but people probably just stumbled to my blog and read some of my post.
  • I mostly enjoyed writing my SBC Week 9 post because it’s something that I personally really like. It was about Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children and World War II. I tried to get something of my interest and tie the with something that happened in real life.
  • At first, I thought that my theme for my blog was getting a bit old. I didn’t want to be like everyone’s blog. I wanted something unique, fun, and something that totally brings out me. That’s why I chose a notebook because I basically pretending to write things down in a notebook(A.K.A my blog) Then, I chose a galaxy background because galaxy’s are one of my favorite things.
  • I have 9 widgets. I think that’s enough widgets, but my theme repeats some of them, so in all, I got 13 widgets.
  • I have 5 overseas friends/bloggers.
  • I don’t use any web tools, but I think my blog is perfect as is.

My Aunty Reacts To My Blog (BTW: I’m writing what my Aunty said)

  • “My first impressions of this blog was that it was very interesting.”
  • “The thing that got my attention was one of her post about pugs because they are so 💕CUTE💕.”
  • “Nothing really distracted me”
  • “I think that she could add some photos to her blog on some of her post.”

That’s all for this post. Hope you enjoyed it. I’ll see you in the last Spring SBC post. Bai!

Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children and World War II| SBC Week 9: Improvement?

Hello everyone!👋 It’s me, Sarah. 😃

Today, I’m going to talk about my favorite book/movie, Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children.

Summary (SPOILERS): It’s a story about a boy named Jake who thinks he is just an ordinary boy. His grandpa, Abe, tells him about these amazing/peculiar, children, and his experience with them. When his grandpa is mysteriously murdered, with his dying breath, he told him to go to Wales and find them. When he told his father, he believes it’s just for therapy, but Jake wants to find the children. They check into a local pub and sleep.

The next day, Jake’s dad pays some kids to watch his son while he goes bird watching. Jake leaves them to go find the children. When he finds the house, it’s destroyed. Jake looks around and sees a picture of all of them together. Jake walks upstairs and sees a girl standing in the middle of the hallway, asking “Abe?” Jake gets frightened and runs away. He sees more children and gets a concussion when running into a pile of rocks.

When Jake wakes up, he is being carried by a little girl. He sees some of the children standing, and frightenedly runs away. He arrives at the pub and walks up the stairs. A man asked him what he is doing, and Jake explains that he is a guest here. When showing his key, the man says that he is the manager. The people were going to attack Jake, but suddenly plates and drinks are being mysteriously picked up and thrown around. Jake is pulled out of the pub by a red headed girl wearing rubber gloves. She touches the building with her bare and sets a fire. A girl with lead boots picks them up. Jake, excitedly, says that they are real.

They are taking them to a house while explaining to him that’s it September 2, 1943. They go up to the house and sees Miss Peregrine, basically the boss of the house. She lets them in and explains to Jake things. Miss Peregrine explains that she is a ymbryne (someone that can turn into a bird, they can also manipulate time to keep a loop to live forever, and are in charge of the young.)(If you already didn’t notice that Peregrine is a type of falcon) Miss Peregrine introduces him to the children.

  • There is Olive, the girl with fire hands, so she has to wear rubber gloves.
  • There is an invisible boy named Millard.
  • There is a boy with bees in his body named Hugh.
  • Horace has dreams that can sometimes tell the future.
  • Claire has a mouth with sharp teeth on the back of her head.
  • The twins are basically Medusa.
  • Fiona can grow plants to become big
  • Bronwyn can carry things 10 times her weight

Jake brings up that Bronwyn has a brother named Victor. Miss Peregrine doesn’t introduce him because of reasons. After a couple of hours, Miss Peregrine is taken away by Barron, a hollow. Hollows, basically slender man, are monsters that eat eyeballs. Barron eats enough eyeballs of peculiars, he can have his human form. That’s all I’m going to say for now because I don’t want to spoil the WHOLE movie/book for you.

I know what you are thinking. There is nothing to do with history, travel, or inventions. Well, actually there is. It takes place during World War 2. They live in a continuous loop that last forever. They have to reset the loop before the Germans drop the bomb onto the house. So, we are going to talk about WW II. Here are some facts:

  • It had the most destructive conflict in history
  • Almost 1.5 million children passed away during WW II
  • About 12,000 Jews were killed in camps

Sakura🌸 & SPACE!! 🚀| Life Update 4

Hey everybody! Welcome to Life Update #4. You remember the Space Shuttle incident? Well, for school, we went to a Challenger Mission simulator. I was Life Support with Jennifer, and we kinda of sorta, not really, but still did fail. We were SO close to launching the probe. 😞 But, the problems had just begun. So you are trying to launch the probe and locate Comet Halley, but there are these itty bitty problems that you have to fix. Here’s what happened:

Jennifer and I were just trying to finish up our work, la la la, until BEEP BEEP BEEP, the alarm went off because of Oxygen Going Down. Then, there were two sheets of paper, we didn’t know which one to go to, so we asked for help. One of the people didn’t really help us, but we did our best. Not much else… so, now! Other news.

I’m going to Japan!! Yay!! In a couple of weeks, I’ll be leaving. I’m also missing the final day of school, so it’s kind of bumming me out. That’s all for this Life Update. I hope you enjoyed it! I’ll see you in the Weekly Post. Bai! 🙂

My Foot| Student Blogging Challenge: Week 7

Hey guys! Welcome back to another SBC post. Today’s topic is My Digital Footprint. I think that my digital footprint is pretty positive. I didn’t do any bad things on the internet and I can’t because of I have no social media👍😭. I searched my name up, but there wasn’t anything that I owned. I don’t have any gamer nicknames, so basically I live under a rock. Yay!! Hurray, for me… Well, that’s all for this SBC post. I know it was short, but next week post is going to be longer, so stay tune! Bai!
